Within the scope of its activities in the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium, PRIF operates a Europe-wide eLearning program with the purpose of developing expertise in the fields of arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament.
Our eLearning program consists of 16 learning units that impart basic knowledge related to the issues of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons, small arm and light weapon controls, banning anti-personnel and cluster munitions, questions of export controls and terrorism, and new technological developments in the armament sector. The course units place particular emphasis on explaining the EU’s role in each of these fields.
A total of 24 experts from 12 European think tanks in 10 countries have contributed to the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament eLearning course.
The eLearning program is available freely and without registration. It also has an evaluation component through which participants may register and receive a certificate.
The program targets university students as well as diplomats and journalists.
