Lisbeth Zimmermann gets ERC-Grant

Lisbeth Zimmermann receives one of the prestigious "Starting Grants" of the European Research Council (ERC)

Lisbeth Zimmermann, Professor of International Relations at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen, has received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for her research project "The Effects of Far Right Challenges on International Organizations". 

Zimmermann's research project FARRIO is dedicated to the rise of the New Right in international politics. FARRIO investigates the effects of transnational activities of the New Right on the European Union, the United Nations, and its sub-organizations in various policy areas. The political scientist is funded for five years under the European Union's new Horizon Europe program for research and innovation.

Prof. Dr. Zimmermann is an associate member of Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) and was a senior researcher there from 2015 to 2018.
