PRIF is happy to welcome Emma van Heeswijk and MacKenzie Hamilton as student researcher interns for a virtual stay at the institute for the upcoming six months.

The research placement is part of a collaboration with the “International Master Program in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies (IMSISS)”. This Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program is offered by a consortium of European universities in the UK (University of Glasgow), Ireland (Dublin City University), the Czech Republic (Charles University in Prague) and Italy (University of Trento).
The programme provides the students with the opportunity to undertake a work-based learning placement at a partner institution linked to their Master’s thesis research. At PRIF the two student researchers will contribute to a research project on coercion in peacebuilding and will be supervised by Sabine Mannitz and Jonas Wolff.
