The German-Colombian Peace Institute (Instituto CAPAZ) is the winner of the Award "Raising the Profile of Education and Science Diplomacy" by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). A jury selected the project, co-founded by PRIF, as one of three winners in recognition of its science diplomacy work. Following formal confirmation of the award, CAPAZ can look forward to prize money of €75,000, which will be used for creative and innovative ways of communicating scientific findings to the general public.

In addition to the jury's decision, the institute is also in the running for the public choice award, which is endowed with a further €25,000. You can cast your vote for the Instituto CAPAZ in an online voting until January 4, 2021 and thereby support its work for the scientific accompaniment of the Colombian peace process.
