Nicole Deitelhoff was awarded the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Prize

Dr Nicole Deitelhoff, research fellow at PRIF and Darmstadt University of Technology, was awarded the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Prize 2008, together with five other young researchers, by the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). In its laudation, the DFG called Nicole Deitelhoff "one of the most outstanding young political scientist in Germany whose works are extraordinarily innovative".

 

The award is named after the former DFG-president und nuclear physicist Professor Heinz Maier-Leibnitz. Since 1977, it is awarded every year and it is meant to promote the individual scientific profiles of the outstanding young scientist. The prize is endowed with 16 000 euros funded by the German Ministry for Education and Science.
