As a member of the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium, PRIF has published additional teaching resources on the subjects of arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation. These resources complement the existing eLearning course and are specifically directed at early-career scholars to support them in teaching university classes.

The additional section on the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortiums website not only includes a selection of particularly suitable texts on various topics such as autonomous weapon systems, biological and chemical weapons, drones, export controls, nuclear arms control and missile defense, but also an overview of helpful online materials such as videos, websites and games.

Moreover, the teaching resources section features a collection of syllabi provided by faculty from renowned universities around the world which early-career academics may find a useful source of inspiration for their own classes. Two master syllabi created by PRIF — an introductory course for undergraduate students and a course with critical perspectives for graduate/postgraduate students — complement the materials. These master syllabi may be freely adopted and reused for university classes or other educational purposes.

Finally, the section also includes a statistical evaluation of how non-proliferation and disarmament issues are taught at universities.

The teaching resources section provided by PRIF is available through the Consortium’s website.
