Successful extension of Cluster of Excellence at Goethe University

PRIF appreciates decision to continue funding for Cluster of Excellence "The Formation of Normative Orders"

On June 15th, the German Research Foundation announced that funding for the Cluster of Excellence at Goethe University Frankfurt "The Formation of Normative Orders" will be continued for another five years until 2017.

Since 2007 the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) has been a stable partner of the Cluster of Excellence alongside the Technical University Darmstadt, the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History and the Institute of Social Research in Frankfurt.

"We are very happy about this decision made by the German Research Foundation" said PRIF director, Professor Dr. Harald Müller. "It confirms the quality of our research and provides us with a clear and motivating perspective. The collaboration with colleagues of different disciplines broadens our horizon and stimulates our further work."

Clusters of Excellence are interdisciplinary research programs which are established by universities and non-university research institutes. They are funded for a minimum period of five years.
