Two New Frankfurt University Professors at PRIF

Nicole Deitelhoff and Christopher Daase strengthen the Frankfurt Cluster of Exzellence

Prof. Dr. Nicole Deitelhoff and Prof. Dr. Christopher Daase have been appointed full professors by Goethe-University Frankfurt. They research and teach in the framework of the Frankfurt Cluster of Excellence “The Formation of Normative Orders”, to which PRIF also belongs together with the University of Technology Darmstadt, the Max-Planck Institute for European Legal History Frankfurt, the Institute for Social Research and the Frobenius Institute.

 

Christopher Daase has not only been appointed to the chair for “International Organisation” at Frankfurt University, at the same time, he also became director of PRIF’s research department “International Organisation, Democratic Peace and the Rule of Law”. Here, he will focus on topics as security politics as well as on law and norms in international relations.

 

Nicole Deitelhoff will accede the chair for “International Relations and Theories of Global Order” at Goethe-University Frankfurt on 1 May 2009. At the same time, she will establish and head a research team on fairness in international negotiations at PRIF
