RADIS - Transfer Project Social Causes and Effects of Radical Islam in Germany and Europe
The RADIS transfer project aims to support and accompany all research projects of the funding announcement “Societal Causes and Effects of Radical Islam in Germany and Europe”. As the research projects cover a variety of subjects, disciplines, and knowledge transfer possibilities, RADIS creates communication channels and opportunities among the research projects and with decision makers in parliaments, administrations, civil society, security authorities, and the media. Platforms for exchange and formats for dialogical knowledge transfer are essential if innovative basic research, applied research and practical expertise from civil society, politics and the security authorities are to be effectively integrated and interlinked. The formats and structures bundled serve a threefold goal:
- RADIS wishes to interlink the research projects of the funding announcement in a way that generates synergies, develops exciting impulses, and combines expertise across the projects. In other words, RADIS aims to produce an added value for the individual projects through exchange and support along their needs.
- RADIS seeks to support the research projects in their continuous transfer of knowledge by providing access to different formats, platforms and actors.
- RADIS provides access to the research field outlined in this announcement, as well as to its results. Thereby, RADIS seeks to provide visibility, as well as valuable content trough presenting bundled activities in (partly web-based) formats. In this way, RADIS wants to enable a dialogue with decision-makers in politics, administration, security and professional practice.
