Internationale Konferenz anlässlich der Verabschiedung von Prof. Harald Müller am 13. und 14. Oktober
Nach fast 20 Jahren verabschiedet die HSFK Prof. Dr. Harald Müller als geschäftsführendes Vorstandsmitglied und als Leiter des Programmbereichs I "Sicherheits- und Weltordnungspolitik von Staaten".
Aus diesem Anlass veranstaltet die HSFK am 13. und 14. Oktober 2016 die internationale Konferenz „World Order and Peace”.
Ziel dieser wissenschaftlichen Konferenz ist es, Rückschau auf bestimmende Themen der Friedensforschung der letzten Jahrzehnte zu halten und gleichzeitig zu fragen, welche dieser Themen und Fragestellungen heute in einer „aus den Fugen geratenen Welt“ überhaupt noch Relevanz haben. Was kann und muss die Friedensforschung weiter im Blick behalten, welche Erkenntnisse sind auch heute noch essenziell und welche Fragen sind inzwischen beantwortet? Dabei wird unter anderem auf die Gestaltung von Institutionen und die daraus resultierenden Kooperationschancen, den demokratischen Frieden oder die Frage nach globaler Gerechtigkeit geschaut. Die Konferenz wird von der Deutschen Stiftung Friedensforschung gefördert.
Angesichts der begrenzten Anzahl verfügbarer Plätze bitten wir um Verständnis, dass die Teilnahme nur auf Einladung erfolgen kann.
