In her research project "Globalizing Traditional Leadership: Perceptions and Dynamics of Local Leadership in Land Conflict Management in Ngwa Community, Nigeria" Blessing Onyinyechi Fubara studies how land resource conflicts are managed and local leadership roles are re-traditionalized. Her focus is on a critical analysis of the impact of globalization processes on local structures.
The results of her research stay at PRIF will be included in her PhD project.
From June until October, Blessing Onyinyechi Fubara will work closely together with researchers from the Research Group "The Cultural Dynamics of Political Globalization", headed by Dr Sabine Mannitz.
