New old great power Russia. Ukraine, Iran, Turkey, Syria – Not without Putin

Panel discussion on 14th March 2016 illuminates the foreign policy of Russia

Whoever thought that Putin might become a partner of the West or even a role model democrat was being disabused by 2015: confrontational foreign policy challenges and “hypocritical” values of the West, annexation of the Crimea and war in the Ukraine, collaboration with Assad, provocations against Turkey – but a cooperative policy in view of Iran and against IS. What will come next? Where is Russia headed?
