Guest researcher: Zhongying Pang from the Renmin University of China, Beijing

As a member of PRIF's project "A Twenty-First Century Concert of Powers", Professor Zhongying Pang studies Chinese foreign policy and the relations between China and Europe.

Zhongying Pang is a Professor of International Relations at Renmin University of China, Beijing. His his main focus of research is Chinese foreign policy, including, for example, new foreign policy doctrines, Chinese policies towards the US and Europe as well as the implications for global security governance.

 

At PRIF, he is actively involved in the project A Twenty-First Century Concert of Powers, that brings together not only Chinese and German researchers but also experts from Russia, France, Great Britain, India and the US.

 

The results of his research stay at PRIF will be included into his book Handbook on China in Global Governance, that he is currently working on.

 

From October 2013 until March 2014, Professor Pang works closely together with researchers from department I (headed by Professor Harald Müller).
