In addition to research on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear security (CBRN), Marauhn will monitor compliance with existing arms control treaties and their practical implementation in the domestic legal space. His research focus will be on critically reviewing existing approaches and examining perspectives for improving and further developing arms control law. From The Hague-based Asser Institute, Marauhn will set up and coordinate a national research network and a knowledge hub.
