Research Council
The Research Council is a body that includes all of the institute's scholars. It takes decisions together with the Board of Directors on the research program and on the research projects conducted at PRIF. The council is also responsible for ensuring quality of scholarship.
The Research Council elects a chair and two vice chairs from among its ranks for a period of two years. It is currently chaired by:
- Dr Melanie Coni-Zimmer (Chair)
- Dr Niklas Schörnig (Vice Chair)
- Dr Stefan Kroll (Vice Chair)
Good Scientific Practice
PRIF researchers are very conscious of the general norms of good scientific practice and apply them in their daily work. PRIF is bound by the guidelines of the Leibniz Association (German only), the German research Foundation DFG, and the German Association of Political Science (DVPW).
- Dr Matthias Dembinski is the current PRIF liaison officer or ombudsperson for good scientific practice, his deputy is Prof Dr Lothar Brock.
